Following the popularity of Fluet, I wanted to find other ways for instrumental partners to work together in new ways. Without extensive gymnastics training, the best options were trumpet and trombone, and this led to Twombone and Twompet. Twombone lets the performers flex their creative muscles and work the trombone in ways they probably haven’t before, to the delight of audiences everywhere. A perfect novelty piece to add to any unnecessarily-serious concert.
