Beef and Bean Chili

2 lb. ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic
2-4 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 c. water
3 15 oz. cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro

Brown beef, drain fat. Add onions, garlic and peppers; cook about 5 minutes until almost tender. Add chili powder and cumin; cook 1 minute until fragrant. Add tomato sauce and water and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.

Mash one can of beans. Stir all beans into chili. Return to simme
