Baked Chicken Fried Steak

Steak
1 and 1/2 pounds cube steak
1/3 cup flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt
2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
(Per two steaks)

Gravy
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons fresh cracked ground pepper
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 ½ cups milk

Steak
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Combine flour, salt, and bread crumbs in one bowl; in a separate bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
Dip one cube steak into the flour mixture first, then egg mixture, then flour mixture again and place on baking sheet.

Place tray in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Turn the steaks over and bake for another 5-10 minutes

Gravy
Melt the butter in a medium sauce pan and then whisk in flour and pepper, and while continuously whisking stir in the salt and garlic salt. Slowly pour in the milk and turn heat to medium, whisk occasionally and it will thicken (about 5 minutes), then remove from heat and serve.
