1 lb. hamburger
1 15 oz. can black beans
1/2 cup rice, cold
1 tbsp. grill seasoning
1 tbsp. ancho chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. coriander
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 avocado
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
1 clove garlic
Grated peel and juice of 1 lime
1/2 cup sour cream
Tomato and lettuce, for topping
In a large bowl, combine beef, beans, rice, grill seasoning, chili powder, cumin and coriander. Form into 4 patties. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook, turning once and lowering heat slightly for the last few minutes, until browned, 12 minutes.
While burgers cook, in medium bowl mash avocado, onion, jalapeno, garlic, lime peel and juice. Stir in sour cream.
Top each burger with guacamole and toppings to taste.
