1 cup raisins
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup shortening
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups oatmeal
Zodie’s directions:Beat eggs, then add vanilla and raisins. Let sit for one hour. Recommend adding raisins to dry ingredients and adding egg and vanilla separately.
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream shortening and sugars. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Blend in egg mixture, then add oatmeal.
