1.5 lbs. beef round steak
6 medium carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 medium onions
1 tbsp. ginger
2 cloves garlic
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
3/4 oz. envelope beef gravy mix
4 c. broccoli florets
3 c. hot cooked rice
Cut meat across the grain to 1/2 inch strips. Put carrots and onions in slow cooker, then add meat, ginger and garlic. In small bowl stir together water, soy sauce, and gravy mix. Pour in cooker. Cook low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Stir in broccoli, then cover and cook for 15 more minutes until broccoli is crisp-tender. Serve over rice.
